Ending Abuse

The Granite State Children’s Alliance helps break the cycle of abuse by improving prosecution rates of abusers and putting their victims on a path to healing. We also strive to prevent abuse before it happens by educating people throughout the State of New Hampshire. Ending abuse requires a public understanding of the depths of the problem and an acceptance that physical and sexual abuse can happen to any child.

Did you know?

  • One in four girls and one in six boys in the US will be sexually abused before they are 18.
  • Every six minutes a child in the US will be sexually abused. That’s 240 children every day.
  • 90% of the time, a victim’s abuser will be someone they know, love, and trust.
  • There are an estimated 39 million survivors of childhood sexual abuse in America today.
  • Over 2000 children are interviewed at New Hampshire’s Child Advocacy Centers each year.
  • 70% of these children are between the ages of 3 and 12.
  • They come to us from all walks of life, and from every community in our State.

Join the 246 people who’ve signed our Stand up for Kids” Pledge and become one of the many in New Hampshire who are helping to end the physical and sexual abuse of our children.
