Forensic Interviewer

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated team providing services for children in the Greater Lakes/Belknap County area. In this position, you will be part of a growing and dynamic statewide organization with goals focused on enhancing healing services to children who are referred to the Belknap County Child Advocacy Center for a forensic interview.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Forensic Interviewer assists the Program Coordinator with intake and the coordination of forensic interviewing, case management services; and conducts forensic interviews at the Child Advocacy Centers (CAC). This position provides support services to children and family members; assists participants in the CAC’s multidisciplinary team; maintains client files; attends multi-agency case review; provides community education, outreach, and prevention of child maltreatment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Assists the Program Coordinator (s) with the coordination and administration of forensic interviewing services
  • Conducts Forensic Interviews of referred clients
  • Coordinates CAC services with participating agencies, including child protection (DCYF), law enforcement, Attorney General’s Office, county prosecutors, local crisis center supports, and medical and mental health personnel to ensure a timely and well-coordinated response to requests for service
  • Maintains a positive relationship with multidisciplinary team members so as to ensure program success
  • Completes and maintains all necessary and appropriate files and records associated with intake
  • Assists in the gathering and reporting of program data, quality assurance and outcome evaluation as assigned
  • Facilitates Pre- and Post-Interview meetings with MDT members and families
  • Assists with crisis management services to children and families seen in the course of the Forensic Interview process with appropriate safety planning and system advocacy
  • Assists in scheduling CAC clients for evaluation and other necessary appointments both on-site and with community partners
  • Assists parents and others in identifying and eliminating any barriers that may exist to keeping scheduled appointments
  • Assists the GSCA CACs with various fundraising events
  • Assists with community outreach and education
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Program Coordinator and/or Director of CAC services

Director of Resource Development

In this position, you will have the opportunity to support the sustainability and future growth of services for children supported at CACs.

The Director Resource Development for the Granite State Children’s Alliance is responsible for developing, planning and coordinating fund development strategies and activities as well as creatively seeking new opportunities to generate revenue and other resources to ensure long-term sustainability of our organizational and programmatic services for children who are victims of abuse.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide leadership for establishing and executing a robust GSCA resource development strategy whereby creating systems and processes that prioritize identification, cultivation, and stewardship of existing and potential donors, foundation grants; municipal/state/federal grants, corporate giving; and special events.
  • Create and implement an annual development plan that supports the vision of the organization and strategically integrates multiple development revenue streams.
  • Maximize GSCA’s donor management system capabilities to ensure proper reporting, acknowledgment of gifts, and stewardship of stakeholders and donors.
  • Identify grant opportunities, prepare grant applications, secure grants of all types, and assist in the management and reporting of approved grants in specified operational and program areas.
  • Provide resource development leadership to the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Program Officer and Board of Directors, including board member trainings, identifying prospective donors and managing Board of Directors giving.
  • Oversee all fundraising-related event planning and execution.
  • Align development strategies with communication strategies, ensuring consistent branding across all platforms and working with the Director of Education and Outreach to elevate community awareness of Granite State Alliance and the Network of Child Advocacy Centers.
